14-24 Jan - Nana and Pops First Visit

Nana and Pops had two weekends in Oahu and either enjoyed or were subject to our more polished tour guide skills. There wasn't much they didn't see. They also hit right on the first spell of good weather we've had since the New Year (been kinda rainy and "cool").

Howitt, aka Pops, is an excellent photographer and took over 1,100 pictures. So, I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves in most of the posts and take the opportunity to get up some better pictures of some of our typical family haunts.

Getting reacquainted which to Andy means, "let me show you to play Angry Birds"

We typically start visitors out on a little windshield tour of the neighborhood which is essentially Pearl Harbor, Hickam AFB and Ford Island. Everyone likes to go see the giant banyan tree on Ford Island.

The other typical first stop is the Bishop Museum which is excellent way to get a grasp of Hawaiian history.
