To catch up: Grandmother and Grandfather jumped on the now familiar nonstop Delta from Atlanta for their fourth trip to Oahu'. Not a bad trend for two years time.
Having seen most of the islands highlights this was a bit more laid back visit. I managed some time off and Kim and I got to sneak out for a couple of nights. Our first night together without the boys in about 21 months.
So the visit was more about visiting and that was kind of nice.

Lots of time at the neighborhood pool. We give Granddaddy a 9.0.
We love this set of pictures. Hanging out on the lanai during Andy's piano practice. What was the conversation? What is Zach annoyed with? Why is everyone making such a funny face?
Swimming at the Hale Koa
We ventured out to Kaena Point State Park for a hike. Kaena Point is the northwest corner of Oahu. There used to be plantations and even a railway out towards the point for bringing produce to the nearby town of Haleiwa. Railway and agriculture are gone (lack of market, tsunamis). The Air Force now operates a satellite tracking station on mountains out on the point.
