Just an admin day. About a four hour drive back to Christchurch. It rained most of the way which was just as well since we didn't have a lot of time to loiter. Had to get the various tanks in the RV drained or refilled, drop it off, unpack and repack for the train trip the next day. We drove into downtown Christchurch to have lunch in a park, but we ended up stuck in traffic and nearly got the RV stuck in a tiny parking lot - that episode ended up as the most stressful in all the driving we did.
Otherwise, everything was smooth and Wilderness Rentals was just as good for the return as the pick-up. Back to Huntingdon Grange to let the boys play and eat dinner while we got ready for the next morning.
Beautiful scenery mostly clouded up. No real pictures to note except these clouds rolling over the hills.
