Chuck had to attend a one month Maritime Staff Officer Course at the Naval War College in Newport, RI before our move to Hawaii. We decided the whole family should come along and experience New England in the Spring. It was also a great opportunity to visit with all the family before setting out for the middle of the Pacific.
