Zach's Birthday Party - April 17th

Zach hosted some friends from school and our neighborhood at our house for his big celebration.

Party theme was "How to Train Your Dragon". The cake kept in line and was quite the hit.

Bouncy House was a party favorite.

After the party the boys friends Diego and Hulio stayed for pizza.

Zach Turns 4!

April 15th is the big day for Zach and he turned four this year.

His preschool class celebrated at snack time with some cupcakes on the lanai.

Yes, ever the gentlemen.

We celebrated at home with some gifts from friends and family.

Zach gets really excited about presents, but when it comes time to opening them he gets very serious, quiet and methodical.

This Spring saw a rather abrupt transition from Thomas the Tank Engine to How to Train Your Dragon. Here he finds a Night Fury dragon costume.

You unwrap presents and then you have to decide which ones to task Mommy and Daddy with opening, assembling and powering. This is not taken lightly.

We had another cupcake celebration after dinner.

Zach the Star Keiki - April 9th

On account of April being Zach's birth month he was a Star Keiki at school.

He received a certificate at the morning Flag Ceremony.

We were at Hickam AFB so we went for a ride along the Pearl Harbor Channel and stopped for some snacks.

Boys also wanted to try a little tree "climbing"

Easter Sunday - 04 April

Andy's Career Day - 31 March

Andy had a career day at school.  Naturally he didn't want to dress up, but finally accepted and went as any five year old would - as a banker.  

Here he is with his calculator.  That's Aloha banking attire.

Fireman, astronaut, soldier, and banker.  Banking could be looking up around 2026 - may be a good call.
